Helping people fall in love with surfing,
one wave at a time
🐢
Surfing is more than catching waves :
it's connection, confidence, and joyBased in Sayulita, we offer personalized surf lessons, surf trips, and immersive experiences on the Riviera Nayarit.
🌞
Our Story
Shine On Surf started as a dream shared by two people in love with each other, and with the ocean.
Osmar, a self-taught surfer from the Pacific coast of Mexico, and his partner built this project together from the ground up in Sayulita. What started as a shared passion became a mission : help people feel the same joy, freedom, and connection that surfing brings us every day.
We're not just here to teach you how to surf. We're here to help you feel at home in the water, warm Pacific sunsets, and all.
Inspired by the glow that comes after a session ✨
THERE ARE MANY SURF SCHOOLS IN SAYULITA…
SO WHY SHINE ON SURF?
What makes us different?🌺
MORE THAN JUST SURF LESSONS
Freedom, confidence, connection and memories that last way beyond Sayulita.

MEET OSMAR
Founder & Surf Coach
Born in Guadalajara, Osmar moved to Sayulita at age 8 and grew up with the ocean in his blood.
He learned to surf at 14, started teaching at 18, and hasn't stopped since. 10+ years of experience, patience, good energy, and a natural gift for making people feel comfortable in the water.
Surfing became more than a passion
it became a source of purpose, healing, and growth.
Meet Sabrina
Creative Director & Co-Founder
Growing up in Montreal, Sabrina watched Blue Crush and decided : that's the coolest thing in the world — and one day, that'll be me.
She chased that dream to Portugal, then Tofino — always the last one standing up, always the most hopeless in the group.
It wasn't until Sayulita — meeting Osmar and the Pacific ocean — that it all finally clicked.
A proud late bloomer — proof that your wave is always waiting for you.
